What started in 2002 as a small mall kiosk in St. Louis, selling a single batch of Apple Cinnamon Heart treats, has grown into 21 neighborhood stores across Missouri and Kansas. Even with that growth, the focus remains the same: simple ingredients, thoughtful recipes, and genuine care for pets.

Why Did We Start Baking Treats?
The bakery’s story starts with two dachshunds, Max and Mickey. When founders Teresa and Ian returned to St. Louis, they couldn’t find wholesome treat options they felt good about feeding their dogs.
So, they started baking their own. With support from Teresa’s father, who had a background in animal nutrition, those early recipes became the foundation of the business. What began as a solution for their pets grew into a multi-generational family company.
