Each year, the American Pet Products Association (APPA) hosts the Global Pet Expo. This event is the pet industry's premier event featuring the newest, most innovative pet products on the market today. For the past 11 years, at this event, Pet Business Magazine has recognized outstanding independent pet specialty retailers with the Retailer Excellence Awards. This year, awards were organized by size - spanning from single stores to retailers with 31+ locations. 

Nominations were accepted by a plethora of industry experts - manufacturers, distributors, and retailers themselves. Treats Unleashed is honored to have been nominated and to have won Best Multi-Unit Retailer with 16-30 stores! We thank you for your continued support - we wouldn't be here without you!

Treats Unleashed was founded in 2002 by owners Ian and Teresa Miller. It all started with a batch of Apple Cinnamon heart cookies at a kiosk in the mall. Ian and Teresa had recently moved to St. Louis and found that they were having a difficult time finding healthy and nutritious pet food and treats. Fast forward 20 years, and Treats Unleashed has 19 locations in the St. Louis, Columbia, and Kansas City areas! We are still 100% family owned and trust in the power of family, community, and knowledge.
