Treats Unleashed to host weekend celebration at new Merriam location

Pet bakery and store Treats Unleashed is excited to announce that we are now officially serving pets and pet parents in the Merriam, Kansas neighborhood. The new shop is located in a brand new development at 8717 Shawnee Mission Parkway in Merriam, KS 66202.

The new location's soft opening was in November, and the store will host its two-day Grand Opening Paw-ty all day on Saturday, December 7; and all day Sunday, Dec. 8! 

Join us for a weekend of prizes, games and all day in-store specials, including a special 25% off sale on select brands at the Merriam store only for that weekend. The first 25 customers that walk in the door each day will receive a gift bag filled with free goodies, samples and more to take home to their beloved pet. Inside the store, make sure to stop by the tables of visiting vendors Acana, Orijen, Fussie Cat, Fromm, NutriSource, Zignature and Ziwi Peak. All visiting brands are sold on Treats Unleashed shelves. For those interested in stopping in on both days, there will be unique vendors on both Saturday and Sunday. Free pet caricatures from Skipper Art will be available during select hours on both days of the event. Before you go, don’t forget to complete a store scavenger hunt to receive a raffle ticket to enter for a prize basket. Refreshments for both humans and pets will be served. Treats Unleashed is pet-friendly, but for safety reasons, all pets must be on a leash when inside the store.

Treats Unleashed has remained 100% family-owned since they opened their first shop in 2002 and is well-known for being the all-natural place for pets. Treats Unleashed specializes in all-natural pet food, fresh-baked pet treats, toys, supplies, grooming and convenient self-wash services. The staff at each location are trained pet food experts and are dedicated to helping pet parents find the perfect products for their pets’ needs.

Treats Unleashed is now in five Kansas City neighborhoods, including: Leawood, Northland, Olathe, Shoal Creek and Merriam. All store locations are open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m.-8 p.m., and on Sundays from 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
