How to Make a Pup-kin Spice Latte at Home!

Posted on 10.19.2022

Everyone loves a good pup cup. Driving to Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, or another coffee shop and getting a drink for you and your best friend can sometimes turn a good day into a great dayl However, while an occasional whipped-cream treat is perfectly fine, the combination of dairy and sugar is not the best for dogs. Many canines are lactose intolerant and too much sugar can lead to health issues in the future. Treats Unleashed has come up with a way to bring the excitement home - making a PSL for pups!

A Pup-kin Spice Latte That is Healthy and Delicious!

Nothing says fall like a pumpkin spice latte, or in our case a Pup-kin Spice Latte! The best part about our PSL is that they both taste great AND are made with natural, nutrient rich ingredients. We use goat milk, pumpkin puree, and goat whip to make this tasty treat. Primal goat milk is made with ingredients like cinnamon, ginger, and turmeric to create an all around excellent product. Goat milk provides moisture while also introducing healthy bacteria and enzymes to help heal and maintain your pet's gut. Weruva's Pumpkin Patch Up is pumpkin puree mixed with water - making it a perfect supplement to maintain GI health. Finally, Bones & Co. Goat Whip combines the benefits of goat milk and beef gelatin - making it an amazing source of hydration, GI support, digestive support, and allergy relief.

Pup-kin Spice Latte Recipe

Equipment:
- Utensil for stirring
- Separate container
- Dog bowl or cup for consumption

Ingredients:

-16 oz Primal Goat Milk
- 1 oz Weuva Pumpkin Patch Up
- 1 tbsp Bones & Co Goat Whip
- Dash of cinnamon, optional

Instructions:

1. Pour the goat milk into a separate container.
2. Pour the Pumpkin Patch Up into the goat milk.
3. Stir the products thoroughly. The pumpkin will not completely dissolve, so there will most likely be some chunks of pumpkin.
4. Pour 2-3 oz of the combination into your dog's bowl or into a designated cup.
5. Put the rest of the mixture into the fridge. It is good in the fridge for 7-10 days.
6. Put 1 tbsp of goat whip on top and sprinkle with cinnamon (if desired).
7. Give to your pup and watch them go crazy!

Don't be afraid to mix it up! Some pups like pumpkin more than others and would prefer to have more pumpkin puree. You can also choose to change the flavor of the drink! Treats Unleashed sells different flavors of goat milk - Cranberry Blast (perfect for a Pink Drink), Green Goddess (a Matcha latte look-alike), and Blueberry-Pom (a Starbucks secret menu Blue Drink)!
