It can also mean changing the types of food your pet eats on a semi-regular basis, such as kibble, wet food, freeze-dried raw, etc. If your pet usually has a bag of chicken and rice kibble, try a bag of beef or fish dry food next time. Rotational feeding not only keeps your pet engaged in their dinner, but also helps establish a more well rounded diet. Changing their protein sources regularly provides your pet with nutritional diversity and can help prevent developing a food allergy later in life.
